Certificate III in Security Operations PRS30103
This exciting field and pathway offers candidates and officers the opportunity to be awarded nationally accredited certificates within Security Operations. candidates and officers may select from specialist pathways including:-
- Control Room Operations
- K9 Handler
- Supervisor – General Operations
- Firearms and Defensive Tactics
- Cash in Transit (Armoured Division)
- Bodyguard
Officers qualified at Certificate level III are charged with the responsibility for the public’s safety and command and control of specialist security teams. Candidates and officers should be aware that courses pitched at certificate level III are NOT licencing courses with the exception of the Firearms components for weapons licencing under the Queensland Police guidelines.
To be awarded a Certificate III in Security Operations candidates must successfully completeete (9 core units and 4 elective units).
