Our Directors

Cathy Walsh

Cathy Walsh is the Director for Business Services, Administration and Student support. Cathy also lectures at Central Queensland University (CQU) and facilitates the Master of Learning Management within the Faculty of Education and Creative Arts.

In her positions, Cathy has delivered and assessed on courses across a wide range of levels in education and information technology.

These have included; Assessor and Workplace Trainer, Frontline Management, Learning Management, Small Business Management, Office Administration and Information Technology. Theses positions have been at National and International education establishments ranging from Private and Public Training Organisations and most recently the Department of Education & Training (DET) Queensland Government.

Cathy is a Nationally Recognised and Accredited Senior Recognition of Prior Learning Assessor (SRPL) and a Registered Teacher. Cathy also holds prestigious university qualifications ranging from a Bachelor Degree in Adult and Vocational Education (Griffith University), and the Master of Learning Management (CQU).

Cathy is currently undertaking a Doctorate of Education through (CQU) specialising in the fields of; e-learning, vocational education and learning management which encompasses a variety of workplaces and other vocational settings ranging from private, public, local state and federal government organisations.

Wayne Condon  
Director of Government and Public Safety Services Wayne Condon has an extensive background within the Public Safety & Law Enforcement field. In former positions, Wayne managed the Queensland Government – Law Enforcement Training department under the TAFE QLD portfolio. Wayne has fulfilled the positions of Chief Instructor for Chubb Protective (Security) Services in Queensland and held the position of Principal for International Colleges of Australia.

Wayne additionally manages to maintain his professional currency within the operational fields in which he currently holds the appointment of Chief Inspector for Chubb Mobile Patrols covering an area from Gympie to Cairns in Queensland and is a serving reserve member of the Australian Defence Force within the Military Police.

Wayne holds a large portfolio of qualifications which includes Advance Diploma in Security Risk Management, Diploma in Government Investigations, Diploma in Correctional Management, extensive International Firearms qualifications and a Master of Learning Management (CQU). Wayne is also a private pilot, flying twin engine aircraft in his spare time.

Wayne has instructed and assessed various government departments and organisations ranging from Centrelink, Police Agencies, Department of Corrections, Defence Department, Department of Primary Industries, Chubb Protective Services, Armaguard and Local Government Councils, just to name a few.
