Nationally Recognised Training

Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

A completed enrolment form must be accompanied by the full fee. If your employer is paying, then your employer’s authorisation is required unless funding is available. Where an employer’s authorisation is received, the full fees are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.

The employer is fully responsible for the payment of fees due in all circumstances, including termination of employment or cancellation of course. Conwal & Associates reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts.

A deferral must be processed prior to the commencement of the course or the following unit of competency. Deferrals without notice will incur a deferral fee of $30. Conwal & Associates reserve the right to change advertised course dates, times and locations if this proves necessary. If a student cannot attend on the revised dates, a refund will be paid.

Conwal & Associates does not guarantee job placement and/or work experience. If you are studying full time and placed in employment prior to the course’s completion, no refund will be allowed. However, you may complete the course either by deferring within a year to a day course or transferring to an available flexible course.

A full refund of fees paid will be made to any applicant if Conwal & Associates cancels the nominated course (e.g. all places on the course have been filled). Alternatively, the applicant may choose to attend a later course in lieu of a refund.

If the course or subject has not commenced and the applicant is unable to commence the course or subject, then a refund of 90% of the fees paid will be forwarded to the person. The balance of 10% shall be retained as administration charges.

If a deposit or part payment has only been received, then an amount equivalent to 10% of the full fees shall be retained as administration charges.

If a student has to leave the course after course commencement, no refund is given. However, the student may attend and complete the next programmed course without additional charge.

No refund is available to a student who –

• Fails to successfully complete the course.

• Is removed from any course as a result of unsafe conduct.

• Is removed from a course as a result of misconduct (inappropriate behaviour) – see “Rules for Students” in student handbook.

• Is removed from a course as a result of a breach of Workplace Health and Safety provisions or premises security.
